NOAH'S ARK THROUGH THE EYES OF PAST VOLUNTEERS

I had a brilliant time in Crete , and really want to go back!
The work was not as demanding as i thought it would be, but you don't really get any days off unless you plan them well in advance! I only had 2 days off in the time i was there! Katrina works so hard that i felt guilty about having these.
It was also great fun being with Katrina, as we went out virtually every night, which gave us something to look forward to. However, I don't think i would have had a very good time without Katrina,
especially at that time of year.
It was a great experience though - especially the visiting German Vets teaching me how to castrate! I may well go back sometime in April, before Katrina leaves.

The only thing I would say is that perhaps to inform volunteers that the hours may be long ( which I expected anyway!) and that time off is not as clear cut as 5 days on and 2 days off!
Also helpful to take your drivers licence!

Will def be there for 2 weeks next year, maybe three! I miss it dreadfully and soooo don't want to be here in England. I am so tempted to take a 6 month-year out and work there but can't live on fresh air eh!
