Fantastic News!

After lengthy discussions the RSPCA have agreed to "recognize" Noah's Ark.

This means we should be able to rely on them to offer some financial assistance in the setting up of the shelters new premises.

Sadly the RSPCA will not contribute to the general running costs, so fundraising here in the UK is as important as ever.

Our Vet and nurse who we sent to Crete last year have agreed to return in September, we also have two more Vets who have kindly offered to help carry out the much needed neutering program at the shelter this year.

Dawn Carver has recently e.mailed us about a new web site for Noah's Ark ...

"You may be interested to know that we have set up a web page for Noah's Ark on our Chaniascape web site. Chaniascape is a site constructed here in Crete and gives detailed information about the area. If you look under 'Local Interests' you'll find Noah's Ark. We are including a 'latest information' page which is coming straight from Silke"

Please go and have a look around, lots of new pictures and news.

Many Thanks Dawn.

The change of location planned for Noah's Ark has now been delayed until the end of 1999.

The shelter has applied for recognition from the RSPCA in Britain, which if accepted, could mean that some financial support for the change of location might be offered by them. Fingers crossed............
